To be able to define realistic therapy targets for patients with diabetes, information about glucose courses in persons without diabetes are valuable and useful.
During our studies, we also support the study participants regarding nutritional issues and especially, in case of people with diabetes, regarding carbohydrate estimation. If possible, we analyze the assessed data statistically.
Skin reactions associated with the use of medical devices like CGM systems or insulin pumps are a frequent issue for people with diabetes. In cooperation with a dermatologist and the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Diabetes & Technologie der Deutschen Diabetes Gessellschaft e. V. we developed a report form for standardized documentation of such skin reactions.
