What is the benefit for you?

Before participating in a study you will receive a health check, i.e. a medical examination and possibly a blood test (depending on the study). As a rule, you will permanently be under physician’s care during the tests. At the end of the study, a final examination is performed by the physician, upon request you will receive a copy of the results. You may receive an allowance for your time exposure and/or compensation for costs incurred. We work according to the GCP guidelines, which mean that we inform you of possible study-specific risks comprehensively.

You are insured for the duration of the study and your participation is voluntary, i.e. you can cancel the study at any time without giving reasons, without incurring disadvantages.

We are aware of the fact that this is a big effort, especially multi-day participation in the study for you. We do our best to make your inhabitation over here as interesting and stimulating as possible. We offer training on specific diabetes topics for example. Nights during inpatient studies have come usually in single or double rooms. There is also a common room with TV, VCR, DVD, Internet, etc.
